Our Team

Allison joined our practice in 2022 and is one of the first people you'll encounter. Originally from Louisa, VA, she earned her Bachelor's of Science in Art from Radford University.

April is part of our clinical department and has been with Williamsburg Eye Care since April 2021. As part of this team, she helps coordinate each patient encounter and works closely with our doctors during your visit, performing needed tests to help in the assessment of your ocular health.

Brittany joined our team in early 2024 and is part of our clinic department, working with our optometrists to coordinate patient encounters and complete treatment plans.

Crystal is our licensed optician. She has been with Williamsburg Eye Care since 2007 and is responsible for all aspects of our optical dispensary and optical lab. As our licensed optician she is responsible for receiving and processing lenses prior to notification and for finishing lenses in our in-office lab prior to dispensing.

Damara is part of our clinical department and joined Williamsburg Eye Care in 2021. As part of this team, she coordinates patient encounters and works with our doctors to develop and complete treatment plans.

Denise is our office manager and has been part of our team since 2002. She earned the title of Certified Paraoptometric Assistant in 2002. In 2006 she was awarded “Paraoptometric of the Year,” a statewide award given to the staff member who has made worthwhile contributions to the profession of eye care and the general public.

Jen started her career with Williamsburg Eye Care in 2011 and is a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant. She has a background in secondary education and earned her paraoptometric certification in 2018. Jennifer is one of our lens experts, working within our optical department to help patients select the appropriate eye wear for all of their visual needs. She specializes in the fitting of eye wear, frame repair and adjustments and choosing the appropriate lens for all of your visual needs.

Kenya joined our practice in 2022 and is part of our optical team, working directly with you to determine the best ophthalmic lens and lens options based on your prescription and specific needs. She further specializes in the fitting of eyewear, frame adjustments, and repair. Originally from VA, she earned her Bachelor's of Communications and Culture from Howard University in 2016.

Pam joined Williamsburg Eye Care in 2012 and is a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant. As one of our receptionists she performs all aspects of the front desk including scheduling appointments, receiving you upon your arrival and at the conclusion of your visit. She further helps to verify medical and vision insurance and associated benefits.

Tammy joined Williamsburg Eye Care in 2023 and is one of the first people you'll encounter. She performs all aspects of reception, including scheduling appointments, checking patients in upon arrival and out at the conclusion of their visit. She will also help verify medical and vision insurance benefits.

Tina D is our insurance and billing specialist and has been with Williamsburg Eye Care since 2008. She is Certified Paraoptometric Assistane and a previous “Paraoptometric of the Year” recipient, given to the staff member who has made worthwhile contributions to the profession of eye care and the general public. Tina is very knowledgeable in answering your insurance questions.

Tina H is part of our clinical department and has been with Williamsburg Eye Care since January 2022. With a background in patient care she works with the other departments to ensure your questions are answered thoroughly and is currently studying for her paraoptometric certification. Tina is also cross-trained to provide support to our reception team.

Torie joined Williamsburg Eye Care in 2022 as part of our reception staff, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance benefits, and routing phone calls. Additionally, she is cross-trained in our clinic department, coordinating patient encounters in working closely with our doctors.
